Production Processes
The OMG factory is located in the center of one of the main European industrial areas, approximately 1 km and 5 km respectively from the “Autostrada dei laghi” motorway (Gallarate exit) and the Milan Malpensa international airport.
Factory structure consisting of:
- sales including commercial staff highly specialized in process pumps and dosing systems;
- procurement, financial, administration and personnel, R&D, Quality Health, Safety & Environment Management;
- engineering and design, employing designers utilizing an integrated CAD network equipped with two- and three-dimensional CAD systems;
- job co-ordination department, looking after the co-ordination of the internal principal production processes;
- mechanical machining (more than 2500 m²), with over 50 machine tools, 20 of which are numerically controlled;
- test laboratory (over 200 m²) including a metrological room whit measuring tools periodically calibrated;
- warehouse (over 1500 m²);
- assembly (over 1500 m²);
- welding and assembly of dosing packages, employing welders qualified to ASME standards and covering an area more than 1000 m²;
- department equipped with machines for welding pipes and metal works;
- pumps testing room (over 1000 m²) where each individual pump is run-in and tested to ascertain its fault-free operation and total compliance with both API and additional customer’s requirements, department equipped with test benches and complete instrumentation for pumps trial (flow-meters, pressure detectors, thermometers, timers, vibrations detector, sound level meters, NPSH bench etc. punctually calibrated);
- painting and dispatch (over 1000 m²), including a spray paint booth and facilities for packing construction.
